The 'cheap parts bin build' is a myth, isn't it? Thought I had everything I needed for the latest project and I've still shelled out well north of £60 on sundry essentials such as cable, bar tape, chain, new bottom bracket, etc. That’s before even considering whether I ought to swap out the forks, headset and stem. And maybe the bars...
