Don't forget the pre-1992 coins have better damping at the top end, at the expense of slightly worse phase coherence in the bass. It's worth experimenting with placement of different mixes, e.g. pre-92 front and post-92 rear or vice versa to optimise the sound for your musical preferences. I've even heard of some mad free-jazz fans using diagonal placements, pre-92 inside front and outside rear and post-92 on the other corners‽

This was the quickest option as I'm WFH and couldn't resist getting stuck in, however, I've set myself up for muddied mids and perilously wayward treble, as the change compartment in the kitchen drawer only offered up 3 x 1ps, and 1 x 2p...!
