The SRAM break thing was mildly tongue in cheek. The NX stuff is actual shit though, so much play in brand new mechs they don't shift properly on far too many. I'm not a retro grouch by any means and I'm not against new shit, I generally love it, but this seems like an actually bad idea. Obviously I've never seen it and am happy to be proved wrong but if the trickle down bits that people want are no limit screws in exchange for redesigns of most bikes going forward and not having a sacrificial part of the bike as part of one of the most easily damaged areas of the bike it seems a bit daft.
