This is true. I wore for first time today on bike on a 50km, 6 - 8 degrees out and I was ROASTING. Just a merino longsleeve baselayer underneath.
Zips made it manageable, just. Wouldn't say it's bulky though, packs nicely in it's pocket thing.
Am wondering whether I'll truly get the use out of it, as I don't really ride when there is a chance of ice.
Could be tempted to move it on if anyone's after a large black? Might replace with a thinner Albion jacket, as I love the quality and design.
I'd be interested, not sure how much you'd be after for it though. I run cold...
