There is an open reach hub/terminal type thing in the lounge at my new place, so has obviously had super duper ultra shiny fantastical fibre already.
If the property has had service in the past it's usually plug and play in a few days time. It would be an 18 month type thing so not interim but I can get discount as well.

If the property has had service before you likely won't need a tech visit and it's couriered out to you.
