That is true. But I don't believe this

I don't really have 'good design choices' to showcase

I'm not talking about spending big money or 'design centric' stuff or whatever, just nice things. Thoughtful touches. Restraint. I refuse to believe that there are no good design touches in your house.

Ornaments on the mantelpiece probably my most pleasing moment. They're a bit dusty though.

That reminds me - you've never been to my house have you... (we should fix that). It's basically sentiment smushed with utility with a generous dose of hoarding.
