Do you have a settled set of before/after floor plans you can share?

This bit is the issue - a beam won’t fit up in there and across. Visually it will look better from the outside as this was a bit of a pinch point but will just mean we don’t get floor to ceiling like this.

Roughly this - top is new bottom was old
Upstairs we’re ‘simply’ adding new bathroom and windows (plus flooring and lighting 🫣)

More of our house is now gutted.
The big chimney and wall between the stairs will be removed and all opened up and doorway to lounge added to the rh side
There was some work done this week on working out how to resolve some issues with the big inglenook fireplace in the lounge.
