Where are you mounting the battery? I've seen them mounted under the deck which looks pretty neat and ideal for low centre of gravity.
I'm not sure that's a great idea, it's surprisingly easy to scrape the bottom of the bike!
Yeah I did think that, but with a 2 or 3mm metal box to encase the battery in, maybe that's not such a problem.
