There are some DIY microcement kits - has anyone had a go? Seems like its not a lot of money for the stuff itself, but wondering whether it self-levels or maybe if it needs an inordinate amount of prep?

There's a link in here somewhere to someone who started with a smooth floor and made it look pretty easy.

I think it was @Tenderloin 's mate on Instagram using KABRIC.

Pretty confident you'll need self leveling compound first before you apply it. Unless it's already pretty good.

Thanks, looks good but I'm not sure its worth the cost/faff for what will be a cold floor. Lino it is!

(their paint that imitates plaster looks great though, wish I'd known about that sooner).
