    The size is a bit of a fucker isn't it? As you're just outside of any way to get two pieces from one sheet. Then 25mm gets pricier. I wonder if just doubling up front and back with 15cm strips front and back from the offcuts rather than doubling the whole thing up would be sufficient. That's why I asked what sort of use it'd see.

    Have you had a look on that discount kitchen worktop site that lots of people on here use?

  • I ended up using 5cm strips as marine ply is pretty heavy!
    The worktop will need to be removed once in a while, so less weight is good.
