On most Strats now the two tone controls are one for neck/middle, one for the bridge. Some have one for the neck, one for middle/bridge. Even on the vintage-spec models like Vintera and American Original. Very few nowadays have the original wiring arrangement with no tone control on the bridge pickup.
Ah good to know - I've only ever played a classic 50's strat
