loved Sonar, the year I went digable planets performed, and I think the beastie boys, but drunken memory is drunken.
also enjoyed 6am walk back to apartment along the beach, after getting off the bus from whatever industrial complex on the edge of barcelona sonar by night was held at with the temp in the low 20s.

The only problem I had with Sonar was the amount of 2nd hand smoke involved. I was sweating ashtray smells for days afterwards.

Loved Sonar. Especially loved being able to pop out for a 3 course menu del día mid-festival then head back to sit on nice dry astroturf. Wouldn’t go back to queuing for dubious goat curry in the mud after that.

I'm just very old and wish I had gone to more Sonar events. Now when I look at crowds I think "maybe not".
