The wheels will be fine, but stiff, any reason for not using normal flange hubs? The combination of a stiff alloy frame and stiff wheels will make Gatorskins even more uncomfortable than they already are. Literally anything would be better, if you're not commuting on it try 25mm Veloflex Masters, much lighter and lovely to ride (but not very puncture resistant).
