Looks very neat. Does it just screw straight into the tripod mount hole?

Maybe I should upgrade my shoe string...

Yes, I cut down a bolt and that goes through the eyelt into the mount point. Only downside is on my camera this means I can't get the SD card out without taking the strap off. With some refinement I might be able to solve that.
