Glad to hear and yeah, using reference tracks is something I didn't do for ages, and then belatedly realised the benefits. Especially when mixing. Izotope Tonal Balance is super helpful for this - I wouldn't usually recommend buying plugins in an attempt to solve a problem, but in combination with a reference track it really made a huge difference for me in terms of understanding what needed to be done to achieve the result I wanted.
