  • The old ones, the ones that went to the moon, had the dot over 90 (DON) design. They revised it not long after to “dot near 90” and stuck to it, for the best part of fifty years. So DON bezels became rare and desirable and “authentic”, along with the 321 calibre.

    It’s only recently that they’ve realised that collectors go wild for that type of shit so now they all have DON and it’s not special anymore.

  • As the dot is the indicie, they can't just move it around withouth changing the scale. They must have moved the 90 in relation to the dot, no?
    It should rightly be referred to as NUD (ninety under dot).
