They often forget to factor in the break in rhythm

Not sure that I ever find a rhythm when riding the mtb :-D

I was thinking of Badlands which is a lot more steady riding for the most part but yeah good point. I guess it depends how techy it is for my (lack of) skills and how tired I am.

I think the organisers avoid going too technical on endurance courses, as tiredness takes a few casualties already
