My bike got nicked a couple of days ago from our garage so I am on the hunt for a new one. I'm eyeing up a Vitus Substance CRS-2 which comes with a GRX 800 front derailleur. Would I have issues if I wanted to fit a 105 50/34 chainset in the future?
I've read posts online where people fit a grx chainset to a 105 front derailleur and it works but isn't perfect as there is a 2.5mm offset on the grx chainset, but my mechanic skills are limited and I don't know how that would work if it were the other way round.
Any help appreciated.
