It's not about places. I'm sitting on a 299.2mi 12hr. If I make another 5W then lose it again because of a front light I'm gonna be #sadface

I think the rule is only that you have to start with the light. It can fall off afterwards so shouldn't cost you 5 watts all day. In fact, if you chuck it backwards hard enough you might get an advantage...

I guess I'll wait and see what's in the regs next year. I wanted to test out some new arm positions - maybe I could test some light mounts at the same time? I bet I don't get around to any of it.
