This was revolutionary at the time, great example of Genius British Engineering but not thought through or quality controlled. I had road bike equivalent back in the late 80's as used by (But not used!) by the TVM pro team. Super responsive and comfy, but heavy (Even by 80's steel road bike standards). I think mine corroded quite quickly.
