• Hi. I'm considering getting some suspension forks colour-matched and coated to match my old Bontrager frame (photo attached - can't find a driveside one). Armortex want £100, or £300(!) if they strip the fork themselves.

    Any other ideas??

  • Be careful that you have the right seals before you get anyone to take them apart. It is hard to remove them without damaging. Also, Steve has told us in the past that the magnesium casting on fork lowers does not mate with powder particularly well. A colleague had his done and they didn't come back looking ideal... No fault of Steve's of course, just not a perfect powder situation.
