What a Christmas present!
It will all depend on whether you want to disappear for a morning/afternoon or if you're partner will be very relaxed about parental sharing :)
Lets just say my partner is not ok with me buggering off and having fun whilst she is left on baby duty. Which is totally understandable.
I bought a second hand Orange Clockwork which was very nicely spec'd. Hope, XT, Rockshox, etc.
