Did you take the black anodise off the bars using oven cleaner?

Nope grit 240 emory cloth. Nex step is grit 320-1200 wet sanding and then polish.

Had to check what you were replying to there - thought you might be talking about sanding down the fillets. 1200 grit seemed a bit keen for that!
