I was disgusted at how quickly I turned my back on hand grinding once I got a machine.
And then I realised how silly it was making a pour over in the morning when I almost always had to add cold water and drink it in one anyway. Which was all a convenient excuse to have another bash at getting espresso right - never looked back since!

I ended up getting a Svart yesterday just so I wouldn't start obsessing over getting the absolute best bang for my buck and not have a grinder by the time they put a cast on me. Now today they tell me they think the radiologist got the report wrong and I never had a broken wrist! Pretty pissed at them, but it is nice to press a button and not expend any effort first thing in the morning.
