Be a customer as you would anywhere else and send something back if you’re not happy.
If I went to the soft opening of a restaurant and had a bad plate of food, I wouldn’t try to befriend the head chef to let him know that he needed training. Because that’s weird.
Also, sounds like you’re describing lots of coffees. Don’t just stick to JBM because you enjoyed it one time. Coffee from just about anywhere can taste as your revelatory experience did.
