I only lost mine properly for a week. That was horrible enough, I can't imagine what months would have been like!
Same here but several years ago. My appetite went too, so it was like force feeding myself cardboard. Not keen to re-live that.

Colleague of mine was in a car crash 10 years ago. Suffered a minor head injury and concussion which removed most of his sense of taste. Never returned at all.
