  • How long are you away? I might be tempted to rack off the yeast into another vessel, but if yiur not taking weeks and weeks it will probably be ok on the yeast.

  • I am back on Aug 20th so 2 weeks
    Update: looks like the trippel is at FG 1.010 and from tasting a drop (so it wouldn’t overflow the hydrometer) it seems like beer, so I might just go ahead and bottle that one as it’s only 16L - the double was bubbling away a bit more so I might just keep that going while away.

  • Leaving it until you are back will mean the yeast will clean up any 'off' flavours in the beer.

    Unless you were planning on taking some with you?
