In South Devon, there definitely seems to be fewer people this time around, having said that, the traffic has been pretty horrendous. Last week we did a Thur/Fri/Sat stay at a tiny (6 pitch) campsite in North Devon for the first time in a year, so partner could work on her anxiety exposure therapy, and judging from the number of new tents/rookie camping errors, I think that a lot of people had planned on Portugal then got the rug pulled, and were left with not a lot of options.

I was in the far west of cornwall until yesterday.
The place is awash with tourists coughing their lungs out. The campsite I was in had at least three people with the classic Corona upper chest cough, hacking their way through each night.
It was grim.
St.Ives was absolutely packed. Coughing everywhere. I saw a good few shops and cafes were closed with signs taped on their windows saying they were closed due to coronavirus.
I'm essentially isolating now and testing every other day as a precaution.
