I live near Buxton. It really is bloody cold thanks to being in something of a dip. You’ll need those blankets.

My sister lives there, her kids are double hard when it comes to cold.
@Stonehedge although our terrier is pretty hairy a doggy jumper is a good shout, ta. My wife caught me wistfully daydreaming whilst eyeing up the inflatable kayaks in decathlon the other day, I’m working on her.

Spooning your whippet is next level, kudos. My 4 person tent has sleeping compartments at either end so it looks like I’ll go with dog, wife with child. We’re going at the end of this month to Buxton and I guess it’s the temperature I’m most worried about, hopefully nothing a few extra blankets won’t solve.
