  • This thread has made me realise that these are actually within my budget and probably a good idea given my daily aches >>>> middle age thread. Am thinking Theragun Mini too. Buying a random model from Amazon looks like a lottery, hundreds of the things, although all get pretty decent ratings FWIW.

  • We got the theragun pro. It’s overkill and it’s main 3 advantages are the ability to change the angle of the piston (barely used), the swappable batteries which is great so we can always have one battery fully charged and it is 50 percent more powerful. (60 vs 40lbs of punching power) I have never managed to make it stall so have no idea if I have pushed it close to its limit. It also comes with an additional super soft attachment which is great for a more gentle approach, going close to the spine or massaging face and skull.

It’s a lot cheaper than a weekly deep tissue massage and I can do it while watching tv or even in zoom meetings if camera is off or not showing my lower body.

This is the best part about them. I've the Recovapro and it's great. At the start of the first lockdown, I managed to fall asleep in a really bad position, and then made it worse the next day. Ordered a the big one (mini wasn't out then) and it arrived the following day. After 3 x 10mins it was fixed.

Since then it's now a regular habit. Just sitting on the sofa at the end of the day, after exercise or a ride and pummelling yourself is bliss. Aches just disappear. Working on my hamstrings, I can now get down further. And during lockdown it was amazing on my lower back while I was WFH.

Bearing in mind Recovapro and Theragun come with a money back guarantee, I'd totally recommend people trying them.
