• SOLD Adding this minivelo that I built during the first lockdown last year. Wasn't going to sell it but I had an enquiry via instagram which has gone dead after me buying a new rear wheel for it (wanted to keep the one fitted) and now I fancy shifting it and building something with smaller wheels!

I wanted something like a Raleigh Shopper/RSW or one of those old folders with the low stepthrough frame. Hence the 'Scrappy Shoplifter' title.

Its made of a mixture of cut up old frames and new metal. There's tubes from a Surly 1x1, a Spesh Rockhopper and an old fillet brazed cycle speedway frame and the seat stays are made with a nice Pacenti crown. The front fork started as a Kona jump fork so don't worry, I didn't chop up a real P2.

The 'seattube' isn't a seattube so I've made a custom shim to take it down to fit the seatpost.

The only rear brake is the coaster brake, there's a brazed on anchor point for the torque arm. The fork has a disc mount and I've made the disc brake Skyway by removing some spacers from the axle of a rear wheel and using a 6bolt adapter that threads onto the freewheel thread. I don't know if this is a particularly great idea so I can supply it with a regular spoked front wheel instead if you prefer.

There's mudguard mounts on frame and fork and I have some guards that I can include for a little extra if you want.

I used it a couple times during winter so the wet and salt have started a bit of 'patination'.

Asking £250 posted for the full build. Open to modifying it to suit your taste too so if you want rim brake posts on the rear or one of my signature paintjobs just let me know.
