Use your old kit. Don't buy new kit to trash riding cross in the winter.

Yeah, that's the point really...I don't have old winter kit to ride in and don't want to spend a great deal and then be worried about trashing it.

What size are you? I’ve got some old kit that I’m not using, happy to freecycle it if you’re around 40” chest.
