I think Hoffman did a video on it and the conclusion was the best place to store your beans is in the bag you bought them in

Most bags are resealable and have a valve for the gases to escape, just stick on a shelf away from direct sun and strong smells. Probably not in a cupboard that stinks of those spices you bought when you moved in seven years ago.
