The front mech on my AXS group is probably the best front mech I’ve had on any bike. Has never dropped or failed to shift cleanly.
SRAM Red mechanical FD’s however...

That’s true, it also only need the Eagle 12 speed stuff which mean I don’t need to get the AXS flat top chain, cassette, chainring etc. Just a standard MTB cassette/chain.
TBH the AXS front derailleur is great, I have a feeling this varies on the frames than anything (like Shimano front derailleur).

I feel that the motorised derailleur really help rid the “stress” feeling when changing to a bigger cog compare to mechanical.
It just glide nicely on all cogs,
