Can I ask you what size of needle do you use for this kind of fabric?
And what thread do you use?
I've been playing around with an old Singer machine but if it's not a tension issue it's the thread which breaks after few stitches. I'm using the same kind of fabric with a Gutermann sew all thread.
Maybe I should just try more and be more patient with the machine...
