1950s Lightweight frameset + wheelset

Picked the bike not long ago and was toying with an idea to convert into MGOOF or vintage style pathfinder, but decided to pass it on. Partly due to N-1 faze I'm in :-)

• 57ctc square
  
• early to mid 1950s lightweight, cca 2.5kg f+f, made by C Bertrand, London, pretty rare, certainly not seen another
  
• modernised in 70s - bottle cage bosses added (tubes are not drilled, screws are shortened), repainted etc
  
• front 100, rear 120 OLD
  
• simplex rear, campagnolo front dropouts
  
• not sure that fork is original to the bike, it has different serial number
  
• 27 1 1/4 wheels in very good nick, Maillard Normandy/Le Tour high flange hubs, Staral rims, rear takes freewheel (had 5sp Regina BX on) OR single speed on the other side (double-sided threads)
  
  

No dents, one gear cable guide missing, will give a retro band on that came with the bike.
