Production moved from Australia to the USA. The Australian rims had a drilled rim bed and Velo Plugs - lighter then rim tape. The USA rims had a redesigned bead hook and non drilled rim bed to make them tubeless ready and suffered quality issues. Around this time more manufacturers also started offering the 'wide' rim. HPlus Son Archtype arrived in the market.

Is it just me or were WI to A23s a thing for a minute? Especially with those Velo plugs.
