I’m usually a UK10 and bought Redwing chukkas in the same (from the shop nr Carnaby St) and they’re a touch large, should’ve gone down half a size but I still wear them all the time, just with thicker socks.
I bought some secondhand Thorogood mocktoes which are a good fit although as others have said these tend to shape to the persons foot so if it’s one decent purchase you’re looking to make then go try ‘em.

@JB good advice that on reflection I will definitely follow, hopefully hear back from local shop today on stock, I’m a repeat offender with regards poorly fitting footwear so want to get these right.
@MrMister, yeh there certainly seems to be a wealth of companies do a good version of this style, my issue is getting hands on without having to order online taking a punt on size. Though just realised I haven’t enquired with regard to shops policy on trying shoes on at the moment.
