had a rear tyre come unglued today on its third shakedown/training ride (all in wet CX conditions, not racing)
it just looks like a total failure to adhere. possibly something like this:
but in my case, edge contact was good. it just looks like the middle never stuck. the rim and base tape were completely wet when i pulled it off
got a race on saturday so looking for quick AF solutions, to be honest

Someone gave me a tip about this, for glue or tape: leave an inch opposite the valve unglued/untaped. Then you have somewhere easy to insert an implement/digit.
