curious how much better mechanical discs feel with mtb levers rather than road ones

These are Sora levers with TRP spire brakes, which replaced 105 brifters. The 105s worked fine, the Sora have more leverage, and I find Shimano road shifters uncomfortable, but it's not a night and day difference.
