  • The sidewall of my rear tyre decided to give in today.

I'm thinking I should get a new wider front tyre too (406). Would like to try and fit a 40mm in the back. I think a 2.1 or 2.2 front tyre could squeeze in under the mudguard.

Someone happy with their tyre combo? Matchy logos are.a.must.

I guess Maxxis do lots of bmx tyres. But don't know what to put on the rear. Would like something fast. This baby only sees dry and wet tarmac. Except for that occasional odd place one sometimes finds oneself. It has done single track. But I wouldn't account for any of that in my tyre choice.

  • Maxxis dth are tough and fast

If you want lighter, khe Ma2, the dirt option was a bit tougher and still insane fast rolling
