Can anyone point me in the right direction about quarantine rules for people coming into the Uk from Germany but crossing France and Belgium? I remember a similar case was discussed a while ago? I am struggling to find up to date guidance as to whether they have to quarantine after entering the UK. Thanks so much

If you visit somewhere that is not exempt
You will need to self-isolate when you arrive in England if you visit somewhere that is not exempt in the 14 days before you arrive. Visiting includes making a transit stop.

Thanks. I think travelling out of Germany and through Belgium and France is allowed as far as I can tell from reading the respective national guidance. As long as they don’t mix with people in Belgium or France, they also wouldn’t need to quarantine.
