Its lovely when they find another dog they just click with. For Comet its usually one almost the same age and not too much bigger but he did make friends with a bernese when he was a lot younger. That made for some pretty comedy zoomies.

Odie has taken a shine to a lovely Pharaoh Hound who we see at our local park a lot. Same age and same level of enthusiasm etc. Really nice to see them racing around and tumbling about. Especially as they completely knacker each other out in the space of about 10 minutes!
@kl @Carey Yeah it's definitely just one of those things. I think if the same thing had happened and the other owner hadn't been a twat about it, my wife would have shrugged it off and put it down to experience. I reckon he knew he was in the wrong and got a bit defensive.

Tonights walk involved meeting a cockerpoo named Winnie, we've met her 3 times now and Murphy is mildly smitten. They have the exact same energy and love chasing each other about.
Tonight they were playing and chasing and jumping about like a pair of idiots, then both stopped at the exact same time to sniff a tussock in unison, them gamboled about again.
It was a nice tank drainer for him at the end of his walk.
