That said, GP 5000 TL are pretty much the best tyres you can get nowadays in terms of low rolling resistance/comfort. Bicycle rolling resistance rates the marathon's tread at 14 vs 10 for the 5000 TL, and sidewall protection at 5 for the marathon vs 6 for the 5000 TL (higher is better).
In a nutshell, if you want tyres which are going to feel crazy more comfortable, 5000TL any day vs the marathon. If you want something that will be more hardwearing, keep with your marathons.
