We've just been given a telly, so I'm keen to buy a console for fucking around on, and playing some games with my wife. I've been looking at getting a cheap secondhand ps3 slim. Is this a stupid choice, anything else I should consider? I know the PS5 is coming out in Nov, but
we're likely to get a fair bit of use out of it before then so don't mind that prices will probably drop for ps4/3 after that.
Any reason I should consider an xbox 360/one? My nephew has an xbox and plays fortnight - if I got a ps3/4, would I be able to play with him, or would I need an xbox?
