My RAV4 has will only take 46l of fuel against the 55l advertised.
I contacted Toyota UK who denied there was an issue ,despite hundreds of US owners complaining.
They referred me to a dealer who obviously had no idea what to do and contacted Toyota UK who said there was no known problem.
Over lockdown my fuel range wasn’t an issue. This thread has prompted me to google again and now Toyota US have admitted there is an issue and they will have a fix soon but it “doesn’t fall within the parameters of a recall”.
Basically they aren’t admitting there is a fault until they have a fix.
