  • Just thought about your responses some more. Your opinion is actually pretty useful. I.e maybe indicating that lots of people who buy Tesla don't believe that there is a quality problem with them. The older models at least. Apparently things have got a lot better.

  • I mean, I’m fully aware of quality issues like paint, panel gaps, trim fitment etc. It makes up nearly 50% of posts on uk forums for the Model 3.

    I definitely don’t care about those problems unless they stop my ability to drive the car, especially as I’m only leasing this one for two years.

    I honestly don’t see any many fault posts on M3 forums as I do on Velar forums for the current car, or even R1250 forums for my motorbike but maybe that’s outweighed by the fanaticism that seems to follow Tesla.

    I guess I’ll find out next month. Can’t get rid of the Velar until Oct 16th or face a tax bill but it’s gone ASAP after that.
