Have you looked at Bora or Elica hobs with ducted induction rather than hooded?

I thought about it so quickly that it barely registered. Even if it works perfectly and is silent, I'd still see problems with it... I.e. a 90cm wide induction hob with expanding zones... I just don't see how it would be better than a similarly sized hood directly above.
