And was something of a bitsa- had the rear suspension designed for the still born saloon (an idea which became the Panamera), and the interior which they designed for it they couldn’t afford to produce (it went into the 996) so they lightly upgraded the 964 interior (with which it shared the majority of its bodyshell). Singer use 964 body shells with 993 engines running GT3 cranks and a GT3-RS plenum. A fun thing about Porsche is how you can mix and match stuff across different models (and often certain Volkswagens).

993 is the internal designation for the Porsche 911 manufactured between 1994-98, and the Turbo S represents the ultimate non-RS product, producing 450bhp and with a raft of other upgrades. Obscure baseball player Michael Jordan owned a red one.
