• Hmm that link above suggests compatibility issues with rotors smaller than 160mm and that the caliper interferes with the trainer.

    It'd be great if that's not the case. I might take some photos of her bike on my kickr to show you what I mean. No worries if it goes in the meantime will I figure it out.

    Her bike is 650b (she's 5ft 3) so that might be part of the issue.

    Edit: if it's a 160mm rotor then the rear caliper will have the flat mount spacer and will be further away from the trainer, if it's 140mm that spacer isn't there and thus the caliper is closer to the unit.

  • I've just had a look, it won't fit. It must be the 650b frame that's the issue. The rear caliper touches the trainer on my V2 which has bigger clearances than the V1 so it definitely won't fit. If her chainstays were longer it wouldn't be an issue. Sorry for derailing the thread and good luck with the sale.
